Gerald Gray

On this episode we interview Gerald Gray, chairman of the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe.  We interviewed Gerald the day before the tribe, finally, gained federal recognition.  What does that federal recognition do for the tribe?  Give the show a listen to find out.

The National Defense Authorization Act, which was signed into law on December 20, 2019, granted the tribe federal recognition and The Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana is now the 574th federally recognized tribe of Ojibwe people in Montana.
